What trends do you see in the security market today?
Traditional alarm monitoring will no longer be what it is today in the next 20 years. While requests for video surveillance continue to rise, the number of requests for traditional alarm monitoring remains the same. So, at this point, we’re not seeing a replacement but rather an addition of video. The integration of video will definitely become more important. Integrated security solutions are the future.
What led you to work with Secury360?
Two years ago, we were responsible for site security for an energy company. We used an alarm system, Optex outdoor detectors, and video verification. On such a site, pests and rodents trigger false alarms over and over. Artificial intelligence is rapidly evolving in every sector, and it’s the future. That’s when we started looking for an additional, innovative solution to tackle these false alarms.
Why did you choose Secury360?
We strongly believe in innovation and local products. Belgian alarm systems are not the obvious choice, but we do try to use as many European systems as possible. We explored all the options, including competitors, but we were particularly drawn to Secury360’s local character. While you have international ambitions, your roots are still Belgian, and that really helps build trust with customers. Privacy is a sensitive topic when it comes to video verification, and being able to say the software is Belgian-made definitely helps.
What do you think of the Secury360 solution?
Before we bring any product to market, we have to believe in it ourselves. Everyone in the company needs to be able to work with it, from sales to installation to service. We personally tested the S360 box at our home. There are a lot of moving plants, flowers, and even a Golden Retriever that roams freely. We encountered no issues with the software. The system works, and we are very impressed with it. It helps us offer complete security solutions to our customers.
