KEPLER, a prominent company in the building sector, operates a large industrial site of approximately 22,800 m² in Genk. This site is pivotal to their business, serving as a storage facility for prefab houses and various building materials. Given their business model, Kepler maintains significant stock levels, necessitating stringent security measures to protect their assets.

The challenge

KEPLER’s substantial inventory and the presence of subcontractors who frequently access the warehouse, sometimes outside of regular working hours, posed a significant security challenge. Kepler required a security solution that could ensure comprehensive monitoring at all times. The goal was to enhance security by tracking who enters the warehouse, monitoring activity, and ensuring accountability, particularly during off-hours.

The solution

• Cameras and monitoring: Varel installed cameras around the industrial site's perimeterand inside the warehouse for full coverage.
• Secury360 integration: The system was integrated with these cameras, allowing them to monitor live feeds and receive notifications via the S360 app for real-time visibility.
• Continuous recording: Using Network Optix, continuous recording captures and stores all footage on the S360 box, ensuring historical footage is always available.
• App access: The app allows them to access footage and live feeds remotely, providing an additional layer of security and convenience.
